Son of Man

Son of man censored and banned, perfect example past.

Mocked, abused, ignored, refused, sacrifice unsurpassed.

Beaten, erected, mocked, dejected, hanging, straining, not complaining.

Tortured and crying, bleeding and dying, true love displaying, father obeying.

Breathless distended, punishment ended, fellowship mended, as father intended.

Death defeated, in heaven reseated, pleading our case to God face to face.

In him you must trust, believe him you must, he suffered for our salvation,

Don’t go it alone without true love known, the reason for our creation.

Believe the good news that he paid the dues, of those who in him believe.

He is the way to be guilt free today, granting you full reprieve.

He’ll forgive you complete, a miraculous feat, by counting your debt as paid.

If your sin you’ll decry, he will freely apply his salvation, just as he said.

He gives a new heart, a gracious head start, and his spirit to lead you along.

A love for what’s right and strength hard to fight, against what he shows you is wrong.

His spirit will comfort when your safe in him, never to leave or forsake.

Don’t wait too long to turn from your sin, all other saviors are fake.
