Paths of righteousness traverse the dales of death,
Christ our shepherd there amidst the wilderness.
Fixed on Him, our selves, in spite of our distress,
He meets our every need, supplies our every breath.

An astute observation.
Thanks for commenting. I was inspired by a sermon I heard recently. When it becomes available, I plan on posting a link to it as well.

I love this Vision in Psalm 40, ‘Let all those that seek You rejoice and be glad in You: let such as love Your salvation say continually, The LORD be magnified.
Since I came alive to God in me February 1, 1975, by my experience since that Glorious Day, the Vision is True as an overarching Rainbow with the unfolding details of my personal Life and relationship with Christ!

Amen Ray! Thanks for commenting. That verse brought to mind the idea of a light on a hill, especially how lighthouses employ a lense that “magnifies” the light, intensifying it and directing it’s reach.
