Incidental

To God all things are relative.
Alone He’s existential.
He’s working out His will His way.
And nothing’s incidental.

Treason

Hanging there for treason,
The crime we had committed,
Our rescue was the reason,
Our charge to Him was fitted.

Yoked now we to Him,
Both in and out of season,
Each member just a limb,
Plowing midst the heathen.

Good friday III

Good because that goodness won.
Good because the curse has ended.
Good because that through God’s Son,
To mankind His love commended.

Good because He stooped so low.
Good because He made us well.
Good because He loved us so.
Good because he owed us Hell.

Good because He shows the way.
Good because His strength is real.
Good because we cannot pay,
Worse than broke is our ordeal.

Good because that He is God.
Good because He told us so.
Good because the path He trod,
Prophesied so long ago.

Good because He’s who we need.
Good because He makes us right.
Good because God has decreed,
Men with Him give up their fight.

Changing our station

The good and the bad,
His vision is straight,
Our holy dad,
Re-stamps our slate,

Renews our mind,
No condemnation,
Calling us out,
Changing our station.

Revelation

Universal, audible,
Constant His creation,
Completely inescapable,
His general revelation.

His Holy Word, His masterpiece,
His law, His declaration,
Clean and pure, and right and true,
Empowering salvation.

His world

His world fully real,
We treat as illusion,
Willful we steal,
Project our delusion.

Take from His tree.
Evil deception,
Acting like God,
Immune to correction.

Reset

Rejecting Him I am upset,
He who bore my every sin.
He who pressed my soul reset,
Keeps me coming back to Him.

Guided by His Word,
Sinners un-estranged,
Redeem His fallen world.

Matthew 22:15-22 – “Then went the Pharisees, and took counsel how they might entangle him in [his] talk. And they sent out unto him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, neither carest thou for any [man:] for thou regardest not the person of men. Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not? But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt ye me, [ye] hypocrites?  Shew me the tribute money. And they brought unto him a penny. And he saith unto them, Whose [is] this image and superscription? They say unto him, Caesar’s. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s. When they had heard [these words,] they marvelled, and left him, and went their way.”

Opposing

Opposing Him,
Secured our way.
Ever dimming,
Our charade.

We suffer

We suffer rightfully befitting what is good.
He suffered wrongfully in our place He stood.
