Psychodrama

Playing out your role,
Seeking transformation,
Sharing your control,
Surfing every station.

Actions of the group
Coming to consensus,
Morality in troops
Pleasing to our senses.

The cast, the mob is wired,
Armed with their pretenses.
Compromise desired,
Breaking down defenses,

Reality’s retired
As the play’s repeated,
Collectively, for all,
Everyone’s mistreated,

Corporate spirit guides
Facilitate the play
Steer the compromise
Little day by day.

Those anonymous,
Far away, conflicted,
Leave what’s real behind.
Hopelessly addicted.

Super Universalistic Unapologetic

Super Universalistic Unapologetic
Latching on to issues strong it’s logic’s diuretic.
Often stated teary eyed and pseudo sympathetic.
Super Universalistic Unapologetic

Full in love with humankind to compromise we’re clad.
For everyone to get along we’ll stir the good and bad.

Your up is down, my down is up, our grammar crumbles there.
By meeting in the middle we can both cremate our care.

Um-diddle-diddle-um-diddleye

Collectively it’s all our fault and everyone’s to blame.
Daring not to play a part you’re singled out and shamed.

Without each of us deputized policing’s inhumane.
Take this medication so we all can feel the same.

Super Universalistic Unapologetic
Undertone it everywhere providing anesthetic.
Comprising all day long till everybody gets it.

No trapeze

Neither for them, nor against,
Deadly new moralities,
Under covers of pretense,
Incremental, by degrees,
Redefining prejudice,
Rights protected, no one sees
Further from the truth, remiss,
Neutrality that aims to please,
Climbing to the precipice,
Reasoning with no trapeze.

Perfect ambiguity

ambiguity

Let’s agree to disagree, I’ll boss you and you boss me.

I’m ok and you’re ok, in a world of neutral gray.

Homogenize to equalize, synthesize through compromise.

A thought free group home get along, a zombie zone.

Perfect world, no guilt or shame, now that we are all the same,

With different numbers, you and me, we’ll symbolize diversity.

A parting hymn, a sing-along, censored now old right and wrong.

Consensus Living

images-37

Let’s go ’round the world, everybody share.

Telling how we think and feel, thoughts and feelings bare.

Standing on our own two feet, for just ourselves to see.

I’ll judge you, and you judge me, no objectivity.

For that will stop our dialogue, and call us to obeisance,

Existing laws of man and God, will paralyze our seance.

Participants attending, one another now befriending,

Belief we are suspending, in this process never-ending.

We’ll gather like the gods of old, we’ll conjure resolution.

Accepting one another, by granting absolution.

Learn to get along we must, by growing more the same.

If one gets loose, we’ll round em up, and dialogue again.

Then we will have less need to speak, and less chance to offend.

Marching now in tighter step, a common human blend,

Handicapped by censored speech, and stigmatiz-ed vision,

We’ll sense the world around us, with less and less precision.

Brothers broken, treading nowhere, positive, without complaints.

Earthly gods, equal victims, worshippers of no restraints.
