Trash talking

Honor me with waste
Compartmentalized.

Eyes have got your back.
Defiance is despised.

Sorting through our scraps,
Inspecting every find.

Sift and sort and stack.
Join the heart and mind

With repositioned earth.
Only as our measure,

Doing what we’re told,
Mattering our treasure.

More than dust we are,
More than carbon black

Near the garbage can,
Who is talking back?

Jeremiah 2:27 -“Saying to a tree, ‘You are my father,’ And to a stone, ‘You gave birth to me.’ For they have turned their back to Me, and not their face. But in the time of their trouble They will say, ‘Arise and save us.'”

Beware of Salt

salt-spilled-m

Thoughts are salt you see

Preservatives so says TV

Pronounced the Channel History

Holy men of chemistry

Proudly full revealing

Salt inside our brain is feeling

“Every thought is salt” they said

Without some salt inside your head

Your mind it goes to sleep

With one more pinch he peeped

“All consciousness is salt as well”

All in all is physical!

Our spirits fully free

Of mind and soul reality,

Ideas are elemental

Concrete fundamental

Mere stuff that must be shared.

From each to each I do declare

Of  loosened  lids you must beware

Who aim to serve the earth

With us to fertilize their turf.

With seasonings they’re reasonings

All our thoughts the same you see

Measured by the salt degreed,

Material humanity.
