Dress up

We dress up Jesus for a day,
Confess the king, and make our way,
Ignoring all He has to say.

Love, acceptance, toleration,
Only mark His route betrayed.

Stop there jesus

Relationship Jesus

We’re In Him or we’re not.
We’re fast or we are loose.
He is the sole connection.
Relationship’s diffuse.

He is the mediator
He is the in between
Sinners we His traitors
In Him we are redeemed.

He loves us as His own,
His property reclaimed.
The Father from His throne.
Adopts us each by name.

Greater than

Greater than is he.
Lesser than are we.
Outside of our equation
God of all creation
And all he did create,
Good yet separate,
Fallen our equations,
Monistic meditations.
