Paths of righteousness traverse the dales of death,
Christ our shepherd there amidst the wilderness.
Fixed on Him, our selves, in spite of our distress,
He meets our every need, supplies our every breath.

Noah was a righteous man,
Built an ark of cypress wood.
Obedient, he took a stand,
Faith is what he understood.
Righteousness is equalized
By redefining prejudice,
As every evil’s subsidized
By guiltiness incredulous.
We like our dough, collective rolled,
We knead ourselves from deep within.
Softened up, in groups we’re sold,
Out to every other sin.
Same sex marriage legislated,
Outdating sex with gender,
On alert, against the hated,
Righteousness befriender.

Come out as a sinner,
One who claims that God
Has sent his only Son
To keep His Holy Law,
To suffer in our place
Removing our distress.
Our precious antidote
His blood and righteousness.
