Out of the flame

Out of the flame our God spoke His name.
The bush burned but was not consumed.
God answered their cry but Moses reply,
Far too little faith he presumed.
God makes no mistakes. God gives and God takes.
A staff for a snake He will trade,
What’s clean for disease, our ill for our ease,
Our maker can change what He’s made.

Serpent’s counterfeits revealed

Fragmentations of what’s real,

Twisted truths and mockery

Warring with God’s crockery.

2 Corinthians 4:7- “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.”

2 Timothy 2:19-21- “Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified , and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.”

Shooting gallery

The good they show is just a lie

The bad as well they falsify

Targets in their gallery

Free lancing or salaried.

Put down your pellet gun.

They tempt you with such fun

As you become undone

Half truths require regluing

So controlled our screwing

Directing all our viewing

Displaying halved reality

As the serpent did the tree.

Tempting us with choice.

Come on now girls and boys.
