Second temple jesus

Within my temple Jesus,
The proper exegesis;
By Holiness made whole,
The savior’s in my soul.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 – “What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.”

Shades of blue

Only by the light,
Blue declares its hue.
Only by the light,
Man himself will do.

Would that we’d confess,
Dependence on the light,
Light revealing darkness,
Blacker than the night.

Matthew 6:23 – “But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!” John 8:12 – “Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” Matthew 6:23 – “But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!” Titus 2:11For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,” 1 John 1:5 – “This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.” Romans 1:18-21 – ” For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: because that, when they knew God, they glorified himnot as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Whose spin?

I need to run, I need a walk,

I need to move, I need to talk,

Anything but still to be,

Steady my inconstancy.

Spinning tops may kiss and fight,

But never seem to get it right.

By the curse this way we’re left.

God’s position was our theft.

Clashing with authority,

Judges all we seek to be.

Perfect peace we sacrificed,

Spun ourselves right out of life.

God intervened He sought us out,

Showed us what it’s all about

Came to earth to pay our debt,

To our pride a constant threat.

This Son of Man, living water,

Saving us from selfish slaughter

Lived His life full submitted,

By His spin our sins remitted.

To His Father there above,

Who displayed the utmost love

For we his wayward tops.

He orders us till chaos stops.

Through His only Son,

For once and all be done

With this cosmic feud.

On our souls forever skewed

His Word takes control,

Then back into His fold,

Where he holds us fast,

Battle ceases, still at last.

Psalm 46:6-11 – The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved:he uttered his voice, the earth melted .The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. Come , behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth. He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder ; he burneth the chariot in the fire. 10 Be still , and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

Your steady disbelief

Your steady disbelief in absolutes as such

Leaves you in a breach, tangled, doubled dutch.

Preferring proud your way where I and we are all,

Run before you walk and walk before you crawl.

Back to front your thought minus destination,

Increasingly your life demands procrastination.

Embrace a mystic’s pose quiet to a hum,

Senses empty filled comfortable and numb.

Disconnect your self body leave behind,

Set your brain to drip to other states of mind.

Postmodern Mud

Covered in postmodern mud

Stiffened by the hardened crud

Boldly enter heaven’s shower

Waken by His Holy power

Back into the world to stand

Speak His gracious reprimand

To all of those encrusted still

Cracking insulated swill

Dusty, brittle, parched and hard

Walking Dead

Lying father’s diagnosis

Death is merely halitosis

Flossing brushing every day

Preventing dreaded tooth decay

Rinse the toxins all away

Live to gargle one more day

No cleaning for the mind

To that we are resigned

Deny the soul it’s own renewal

Maintained upon our thoughtful stool

Prefer we do our homemade fuel

Living rotting walking dead

Without His Word inside our head
